The Minuteman Encompass EC2000LCD-NC is a 2000VA 1800W tower UPS with zero transfer time to battery. Eight controllable NEMA 5-15/20R outlets connect via a NEMA 5-20P input. Sealed lead-acid batteries deliver 10 minutes at half load and 3 minutes at full load. Approvals include cULus, FCC Class A, CE and RoHS2.

Suited for critical desktop and network gear

This unit protects workstations, servers or networking hardware that cannot tolerate any interruption. Buyers needing extended runtime for multiple devices should look elsewhere, as full-load backup is limited to 3 minutes. Environments outside the 0 to 40°C operating range also require a different solution.

Replaceable battery and serial management

The BM0077 battery cartridge is user-replaceable and recharges to 90% in 8 hours. A serial port enables monitoring and controlled shutdown without extra software licences. Surge protection is rated at 254 joules, and the 120V output frequency holds to +/-0.2Hz unless synchronised to the line.
