The MSI A320M-A PRO motherboard uses the AMD A320 chipset and Socket AM4 to support 7th generation A-series and Athlon processors. Dual-channel DDR4 memory runs at 1866, 2133 or 2400 MHz up to a maximum of 32 GB. The Micro ATX form factor fits compact chassis while providing essential connectivity.

PCIe 3.0 lanes and storage limits

One PCIe 3.0 x16 slot operates at x8 mode with the supported CPUs, and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots add expansion room. Four SATA III ports handle 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives without an M.2 interface. Six USB 3.1 Gen1 ports and six USB 2.0 ports split between rear panel and onboard headers for peripheral flexibility.

Core I/O and audio for daily use

Realtek ALC887 codec delivers 7.1 channel audio through standard analogue jacks. A single Realtek 8111H controller provides Gigabit Ethernet for wired networking. The board ships with a CMOS battery, one SATA cable and an I/O shield, while the AMD A320 chipset manages all onboard USB without extra controllers.
