This bundle pairs the MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI motherboard with a Ryzen 9 9950X processor. The 16-core CPU reaches a 5.7 GHz maximum boost clock and provides 32 processing threads. The board delivers an 80A SPS VRM design built for sustained loads. It targets builders who want a matched set without selecting parts separately.
Four 288-pin slots support dual-channel DDR5 up to 256 GB total capacity. Ryzen 9000 series chips can reach 8400+ MT/s with one single-rank DIMM per channel, while two-rank modules top out near 6400 MT/s. JEDEC operation starts at 4800 MT/s and scales to 5600 MT/s. The memory ceiling decides whether the platform fits high-frequency workloads.
EZ PCIe Release unlocks the graphics card slot with a single press, and EZ M.2 Shield Frozr II secures drives without screws. PCI_E3 drops to x2 speed when M2_3 is populated unless the slot is switched to x4 in BIOS, which disables M2_3. The CPU ships without a cooler, so a separate AM5-compatible solution is required.
