Built for LGA 1200 Core i9 i7 i5 i3
This ATX board uses the Z590 chipset to support 10th and 11th generation Intel processors in the LGA 1200 socket. It accepts up to 128GB of DDR4 memory and provides one PCI Express 4.0 x16 slot plus a second x16 slot and one legacy PCI slot. Three M.2 sockets, a DisplayPort output, USB 3.1 and a single RJ45 round out the I/O. The package includes the board and I/O shield only.
Thermals noise and power draw in normal use
The Z590 chipset and robust VRM layout handle the power demands of unlocked 10th and 11th generation CPUs without extra active cooling on the heatsinks. In typical desktop workloads the board runs silently because it relies on case airflow rather than onboard fans. Power draw scales with the installed processor and memory population, not with the board itself.
Build integration needs and freedoms
The ATX form factor fits standard mounting holes and aligns with common front-panel headers for power, reset, USB and audio. Three M.2 slots free up drive bays by letting you install SATA SSDs directly on the board. One PCI Express 4.0 x16 slot leaves room for a double-width graphics card while the extra x16 and PCI slots remain available for capture cards or legacy add-in cards. The included I/O shield simplifies rear-panel installation.

Questions sur cet article
How do I install the motherboard into an ATX case and which standoff alignment do builders often miss?
Mount the board using the standard ATX hole pattern, fit the supplied I/O shield first, then secure all nine standoffs; the lower-right corner hole near the PCI slot is the one most often skipped.
What component will need replacement first during long-term ownership?
The CMOS battery on the board typically lasts several years; when the system loses date and time settings at cold boot, replace the coin cell.
Which thermal or power limit appears first when the VRM runs sustained heavy loads?
The 16-phase power delivery is rated for high current, so the VRM heatsink temperature hits its throttle point before the phase count becomes a bottleneck.
