Back-connect mATX for Ryzen 7000/8000/9000

The PRO B850M-A WIFI PZ is a micro-ATX motherboard built on the AMD B850 chipset for AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors. Its back-connect design relocates power, fan and header pins to the rear of the board for a cleaner front view and simpler cable routing. Four DDR5 slots support up to 256 GB of memory. Integrated Wi-Fi 7 and 5 Gbps LAN handle networking.

Frozr heatsinks with 7 W/mK pads

An extended heatsink, MOSFET thermal pads rated for 7 W/mK and additional choke pads form the Frozr Guard cooling array. The direct 8+2+1 power system uses 60 A SPS stages fed by 8+4-pin CPU connectors. A six-layer PCB with 2 oz thickened copper helps dissipate heat during sustained loads. The layout keeps thermals in check without adding acoustic noise.

PCIe 5.0 graphics, Gen5 M.2 and four SATA ports

The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and one M.2_1 slot running PCIe 5.0 x4 come directly from the CPU. A second M.2_2 slot provides PCIe 4.0 x4. Four SATA 6 Gbps ports remain available for additional storage. Two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots from the chipset handle add-in cards. The pre-installed Wi-Fi 7 module occupies the M.2 Key-E slot and supports 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz bands.
