The MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 5060 8G VENTUS 2X OC is a dual-fan graphics card built for 1080p and 1440p gaming. It uses the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 GPU with 3840 CUDA cores and a 2527 MHz boost clock. The 8GB GDDR7 frame buffer runs on a 128-bit bus at 28 Gbps. It fits in compact builds with a 197 mm length and 41 mm thickness.

PCIe 5.0 x8 interface upgrade path

This card connects through a PCI Express 5.0 x16 slot that operates electrically at x8. The jump from PCIe 4.0 x8 is worth it on newer platforms when CPU-to-GPU bandwidth can limit 1% lows in heavy scenes. On older motherboards the slot falls back to PCIe 4.0 x8 without loss of function. A 550W power supply and one 8-pin connector are recommended.

128-bit GDDR7 memory interface limits

The 128-bit memory interface caps peak bandwidth even though GDDR7 runs at 28 Gbps. At 4K resolution the narrower bus can become a bottleneck before the GPU compute units saturate. Display outputs include one HDMI 2.1b and three DisplayPort 2.1b ports driving up to 7680 x 4320 resolution across four monitors. The card draws up to 145W under load.
