The Mushkin Enhanced Vortex-LX is a 1TB internal solid-state drive built for consumer PCs and laptops. It uses the M.2 2280 form factor with a PCI-Express 4.0 x4 interface and NVMe 1.4 protocol. The InnoGrit IG5220 controller manages 3D NAND flash to deliver sequential reads up to 5200 MB/s and writes up to 4370 MB/s.

Built-in ECC and SLC Caching

Fourth-generation LDPC error correction provides the strongest data correction level currently in use. End-to-end data path protection guards information from the host to the NAND. SLC caching accelerates burst workloads, while Host Memory Buffer technology borrows system DRAM to sustain performance without a dedicated DRAM cache.

The single-sided M.2 2280 module fits into any compatible slot on a desktop motherboard or laptop. No cables or brackets are required; secure it with the motherboard screw.
