Fanless DC-ATX Power Module
The myVolts DC-ATX module converts a 16 V to 24 V DC source into standard ATX voltages for mini-ITX motherboards. It accepts up to 12 A at 19 V and delivers 3.3 V, 5 V and 5 V standby rails with 85 percent efficiency. A polymer-capacitor PCB and completely fanless construction give silent, long-life operation.
Builders Using DC Input for Small Boards
This unit suits integrators powering a mini-ITX board from a 19 V laptop-style brick or similar DC source. It is not for builders who need an AC-input PSU, who require 12 V CPU or PCIe power connectors, or who need more than 10 A on the 3.3 V rail.
Protections and Silent Running
Overvoltage protection shuts the output down at 1.5 times the rated voltage, while short-circuit protection cuts power instantly on a fault. The fanless design eliminates noise entirely, and the solid polymer capacitors extend service life in harsh environments.

Questions sur cet article
What DC input voltage and current must my power source deliver for this ATX module to run?
The module accepts 16 VDC to 24 VDC and draws up to 12.0 A at 19 VDC input.
Will the 24-pin ATX connector on this unit power a legacy motherboard that still needs -5 V or -12 V rails?
This module provides only +3.3 V, +5 V, +5 VSB and +12 V outputs; it does not generate -5 V or -12 V rails.
How can I verify the module is regulating correctly after I connect it?
Measure the outputs: +3.3 V should read between 3.14 V and 3.47 V, +5 V and +5 VSB between 4.75 V and 5.25 V, each with ≤ 50 mV ripple.
