This 128GB kit contains two 64GB DDR5 4800 registered DIMMs built for THINKMATE GPU-optimised servers. Error-correcting code and registered buffering protect data integrity in mission-critical workloads. The modules operate at 1.10V with CL40 latency and a 2Rx4 organisation.

DDR5 4800 Registered Interface

The DDR5 4800 standard delivers 38400 MT/s transfer rates, yet registered buffering adds one cycle of address-command delay that caps practical throughput in latency-sensitive code. ECC parity bits consume extra bus cycles, so sustained bandwidth falls short of the raw PC5-38400 figure. Only platforms wired for 288-pin DDR5 RDIMMs can accept these modules.

128GB Dual-Rank Capacity

Two 2Rx4 modules give 128GB total, enough for large GPU datasets, virtualization hosts or in-memory databases. Dual-rank density lets the memory controller interleave accesses across ranks, but the fixed 64GB per slot leaves no room to grow beyond the board's maximum slot count. Buyers who need more capacity per channel must choose higher-density modules.
