ECC protection is provided through the unbuffered UDIMM topology, which the NAS memory controller must support natively. No heat spreaders are fitted, so airflow across the DIMM slots must be adequate for sustained loads. Systems limited to lower DDR5 speeds or registered DIMMs will not accept this kit.
