This 128 GB kit contains eight 16 GB DDR5 RDIMM modules built for the HP Z4 G5 workstation. Registered ECC operation protects data integrity in professional workloads. The modules run at 4800 MT/s with a CL40 latency at 1.1 V. No heat spreaders are fitted.

Upgrading from lower capacity or non-ECC

The kit replaces smaller DDR5 configurations or non-ECC memory that cannot meet workstation stability requirements. The jump is worth it when ECC error correction and registered signalling are mandated by the platform. Systems already populated with 128 GB of identical spec gain no further benefit.

128 GB headroom for multi-tasking workloads
