This 128GB DDR5 4800 registered DIMM targets Supermicro Hyper SuperServer platforms including the SYS-121H-TNR and SYS-221H-TNR families. It provides ECC protection and registered signalling for multi-socket server boards that demand data integrity under sustained load. Builders needing non-ECC or unbuffered memory for consumer platforms cannot use this module.

288-pin registered layout with major OEM chips

The module uses a 288-pin DDR5 RDIMM form factor without a heat spreader, relying on chassis airflow for thermal management. Major OEM Samsung, Micron or Hynix DRAM chips are selected per production run. The registered buffer and 4Rx4 organisation increase electrical loading on the memory controller, so the board must support registered ECC DIMMs at this density.

CL40 latency at 1.10V operating voltage

Rated at DDR5 4800 (PC5-38400) with a CAS latency of 40 cycles, the module runs at the standard 1.10V DDR5 voltage. This timing and voltage combination determines whether the system memory controller can train the link at full speed; boards limited to lower data rates or different voltage rails will not achieve the rated specification.
