192GB DDR5 ECC RDIMM kit for Thinkmate Supermicro

This 192GB kit contains twelve 16GB DDR5 4800 registered DIMMs built for Thinkmate Supermicro SuperServer 421GE-TNRT and 421GE-TNRT3 systems. Each module operates at 1.10V with CL40 latency and uses a 1Rx8 organisation. The registered design adds a buffer that reduces electrical load on the memory controller, which is required for stable operation in these server platforms.

DDR5 4800 registered ECC limits

DDR5 4800 (PC5-38400) sets the maximum transfer rate and the registered interface adds one clock cycle of buffering before commands reach the DRAM. ECC correction handles single-bit errors and detects multi-bit errors, but it cannot correct them. The 1Rx8 rank layout means each module presents a single rank of x8 chips, so total rank count scales with the number of populated slots. CL40 latency is fixed at this speed grade and cannot be tightened without exceeding the JEDEC specification.

Confirm that your SuperServer chassis has at least twelve DDR5 RDIMM slots and that the CPU configuration supports twelve 1Rx8 modules at 4800 MT/s. Some dual-socket boards restrict maximum capacity per channel or require specific slot-filling sequences when all slots are used. Check the system manual for the approved population table and ensure the BIOS version listed by Thinkmate supports 192GB of registered ECC memory.
