The kit delivers 1 TB total capacity across sixteen dual-rank 2Rx4 modules running at 5600 MT/s with CL46 latency. Registered buffering and ECC protect data integrity under sustained load, while the 1.1 V operating voltage keeps power draw predictable. Workloads exceeding 1 TB per server will require additional DIMM slots or higher-density modules.

Build and connectors

Each module uses a standard 288-pin DDR5 RDIMM form factor without a heat spreader, relying on server chassis airflow for cooling. Major OEM DRAM from Samsung, Micron or Hynix underpins the modules, which are stress-tested before shipment. The registered design adds a clock cycle of latency but enables the large 16-module population supported by the SR680a V3 memory architecture.
