1 TB DDR4 ECC RDIMM kit for Thinkmate workstations

This 1 TB kit contains eight 128 GB registered DIMMs built for Thinkmate XF4-24S3 workstations. It runs at DDR4 3200 with CL22 latency and 1.20 V. ECC and registered buffering protect data integrity in multi-socket server workloads. The modules use major OEM Samsung, Micron or Hynix chips and have no heat spreaders.

Upgrading from lower-capacity or non-ECC DDR4 RDIMMs

Replace smaller RDIMM sets when virtualization, database or rendering tasks exhaust installed memory. The jump is worth it when the workstation chassis and motherboard support 4Rx4 population rules and the BIOS recognises 128 GB per slot. Systems limited to lower ranks or densities cannot use these modules.

Straightforward DIMM installation

Insert each 288-pin module into the correct slots following the Thinkmate manual's population sequence for 4Rx4 DIMMs. Mismatched ranks or mixed speeds will prevent boot or force downclocking. No heat spreaders means tight clearances are easier, but verify airflow in dense configurations. Handle by edges to avoid contaminating contacts.
