This 256 GB kit contains four 64 GB DDR5 5600 registered ECC RDIMM modules built for the Lenovo ThinkSystem SR680a V3 rack server. Each module runs at 1.10 V with CL46 latency and a 2Rx4 organisation. The registered design adds a buffer that helps maintain signal integrity on heavily populated server motherboards.

Thermals noise and power draw

Operating at the standard DDR5 voltage of 1.10 V keeps power draw low for a high-capacity server configuration. The modules ship without heat spreaders, relying on the server chassis airflow to manage thermals during normal operation. Registered buffering reduces electrical loading on the memory controller, contributing to stable, quiet running in typical workloads.
