This NEMIX RAM kit provides 256GB of DDR5 ECC registered memory in eight 32GB modules. It is built for Supermicro X13SEW-TF and X13SEW-F motherboards that require registered DIMMs with error correction. The kit targets administrators who need maximum supported capacity for virtualization or database workloads. Each module runs at 1.10V with CL40 latency.

Registered Upgrade Path

The kit replaces unbuffered or lower-capacity DDR5 DIMMs when the platform demands registered signalling and ECC integrity. The jump is worth it when the motherboard firmware requires registered modules or when the application cannot tolerate silent data corruption. Systems limited to unbuffered memory cannot use this kit.

Capacity Headroom

Eight ranks of 1Rx4 organization deliver 256GB across all eight 288-pin slots on compatible boards. This headroom handles large VM fleets and in-memory databases without swapping. The limit is reached when the CPU memory controller or board firmware caps total addressable memory below the installed amount.
