This 2 TB kit contains sixteen 128 GB DDR5 4800 registered DIMMs built for the ThinkMate RAX-XS4-21S4 rackmount server. It targets IT teams that need maximum memory capacity in a single validated package. The modules are tested for compatibility before they leave the factory.

Sixteen dual-rank 4Rx4 modules deliver 2 TB of ECC registered memory running at PC5-38400 with a CAS latency of 40. The kit fills every slot in the supported platform, so virtualisation hosts and in-memory databases get the headroom they need. Workloads that exceed 2 TB or require faster than 4800 MT/s will need a different platform.

What the bundle changes for deployment

The kit arrives as a matched 16-module set with part number MR38400-744K16, eliminating the risk of mixing revisions or ranks. Each DIMM uses major OEM Samsung, Micron or Hynix chips and is stress-tested under load at 1.10 V. No heat spreaders are included, so airflow in the server chassis must handle the thermal load.
