This 2 TB kit contains sixteen 128 GB DDR5 4800 registered ECC RDIMMs built for the ASUS RS720Q-E11-IM immersion-cooling server. Each module runs at 1.1 V with CL40 latency and a 4Rx4 organisation. The memory is validated for that specific 2U4N high-density platform.

Tool-free DIMM installation in a dense chassis

Modules slot into the 288-pin DDR5 sockets without tools; the registered design adds a clock cycle that stabilises the signal path across all sixteen slots. Because the server uses immersion cooling, there are no heat spreaders to snag on adjacent components. The only common issue is forgetting to populate every channel symmetrically, which the platform firmware will flag at POST.

Steady throughput under continuous enterprise load

All modules are stress-tested at the rated 4800 MT/s before shipping, so sustained database or virtualisation workloads see the same bandwidth as a brief benchmark. ECC corrects single-bit errors on the fly, and the registered buffers keep command timing consistent when every DIMM is active. The 1.1 V operating point limits thermal contribution inside the fluid loop.
