Capacity and role

This 32 GB DDR4 3200 module adds a single registered ECC DIMM to compatible Supermicro servers and workstations. It targets administrators who need to expand memory capacity in 288-pin RDIMM slots without mixing consumer-grade parts. The 2Rx4 organisation and CL22 timing follow the PC4-25600 specification for stable operation under sustained loads.

Build integration

The stick plugs directly into a vacant 288-pin DDR4 RDIMM socket and draws 1.20 V from the platform. Registered buffering reduces electrical load on the memory controller, freeing headroom for additional modules in multi-channel configurations. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow across the PCB must be provided by the system chassis fans.

Thermals and power

Operating at the standard 1.20 V DDR4 voltage keeps power draw modest for a 32 GB registered part. With no on-board spreader, component temperatures depend entirely on case airflow directed over the chips. Under typical server workloads the module runs silently, adding no moving parts or audible noise to the build.
