2Rx4 registered ECC modules

The registered buffer reduces electrical load on the memory controller, which helps stability in multi-DIMM server configurations. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow across the PCB is unimpeded. The kit supplies exactly two modules to match the motherboard's channel population guidelines.

Tool-free DIMM installation

Installation follows standard server procedure: power down, open the chassis, align the notch on the 288-pin edge connector, and press until the retention clips engage. The most common issue is mixing registered ECC RDIMMs with unbuffered or non-ECC modules, which prevents the system from posting. Verifying that the BIOS recognises the full 64 GB at 2666 MT/s after the first boot confirms correct seating and compatibility.
