System-Specific DDR5 Upgrade Kit

This 64 GB kit contains two 32 GB unbuffered UDIMMs built for Supermicro desktop and workstation boards. It targets system builders and IT professionals who need validated memory for mission-critical workloads. Each module runs at DDR5 4800 with CL40 timings at the standard 1.10 V operating voltage. The dual-rank 2Rx8 organisation helps maximise density on platforms that support it.

288-Pin Unbuffered Design

Modules use a standard 288-pin DDR5 edge connector and ship without heat spreaders, keeping the profile low for dense chassis layouts. Unbuffered signalling means the memory connects directly to the CPU controller without a register, so the motherboard must support non-ECC UDIMM populations. Samsung, Micron or Hynix DRAM chips are selected per production lot and stress-tested under load before shipment.

Replaces Slower or Smaller DDR5 Kits

The jump makes sense when a Supermicro C9Z790-CGW or compatible board is running at a lower data rate or with less than 64 GB total capacity. Moving to PC5-38400 modules restores the platform’s rated memory bandwidth for virtualisation, compilation or large-dataset tasks. Builders who need ECC, registered DIMMs or higher frequencies must select a different part number.
