System-specific 256GB DDR4 kit

This 256GB kit contains sixteen 16GB DDR4 3200 ECC registered DIMMs built for the Tyan Transport HX TS75-B8252. Each module runs at 1.2V with CL22 latency and a 2Rx8 organisation. The registered design adds a buffer that stabilises the memory bus when every slot is populated.

Sustained load behaviour

ECC circuitry detects and corrects single-bit errors on the fly, preventing silent data corruption during long compute runs. Registered buffering reduces electrical loading on the memory controller, keeping timing margins consistent when all sixteen modules operate continuously at 3200 MT/s. The 2Rx8 rank structure spreads accesses across two ranks per module for steady throughput.

Thermals, noise and power

Modules have no heat spreaders, relying on chassis airflow to dissipate heat at the standard 1.20V operating voltage. Power draw scales with the full 256GB capacity but remains within the DDR4 1.2V specification. Silent operation is assured because the DIMMs contain no moving parts and add no acoustic load to the server.
