This 1 TB kit contains sixteen 64 GB DDR5 registered DIMMs rated at 4800 MT/s with CL40 latency. It is built for the ASUS RS720A-E12-RS24U dual-processor server and other compatible ASUS platforms that require ECC registered memory. The modules operate at 1.1 V and use a 2Rx4 organisation for high-density capacity.

Capacity and headroom

The sixteen-module population fills all DIMM slots on a typical dual-socket board, delivering 1 TB of error-correcting memory for virtualisation, in-memory databases or heavy compute workloads. Headroom ends when the platform reaches its maximum supported capacity or when workloads demand speeds above the 4800 MT/s JEDEC baseline.

Build and connectors

Each module is a standard 288-pin DDR5 RDIMM without a heat spreader, relying on server chassis airflow for cooling. The registered buffer and on-die ECC reduce electrical load on the memory controller, supporting stable operation in fully populated configurations. The kit ships as a matched set to simplify qualification and deployment.
