Console server with 48 serial ports
The Opengear CM7100 console server provides 48 RJ45 serial ports with Cisco pinout for out-of-band management of network, server and power infrastructure. It is built for data-centre and remote-site administrators who need reliable, centralised access to console ports on routers, switches, firewalls and servers. Dual AC power supplies with US cords support continuous operation.
256 MB DDR3 memory and dual Gigabit Ethernet
The system runs on an 800 MHz Marvell processor with 256 MB of DDR3 SDRAM, sufficient for the management dashboard, monitoring, diagnostics and automated remediation tasks. Two 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports and two USB 2.0 ports handle management traffic and local storage or modem connectivity. Wireless LAN is not included.
FIPS 140-2 compliant for regulated environments
The appliance meets FIPS 140-2 requirements, making it suitable for deployments that mandate validated cryptographic modules. Buyers who need wireless management, PoE on the serial ports or a different rack-unit height should look elsewhere.
