The Orico M.2 NVMe enclosure turns a single PCIe M-key or B&M-key SSD into an external USB-C drive. It accepts 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 form factors up to 4 TB and works with Thunderbolt 3 hosts. The aluminium body and integrated heatsink provide three-layer cooling without a fan. Plug-and-play operation requires no driver installation on modern systems.

Push-cover tray installs in seconds

A tool-free push-cover tray slides open so the SSD can be seated and locked without screws. The silicone thermal pad and aluminium cooling vest contact the drive immediately for heat transfer. Common issues are inserting a SATA or AHCI M.2 module, which the enclosure does not support, or forgetting to remove the protective film from the thermal pad before closing the cover.

Verify drive protocol and host port

Confirm the SSD is a PCIe NVMe M-key or B&M-key model; SATA and AHCI variants will not function. The host must provide a USB-C port that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 3 for the 10 Gbps link.
