Targeted Server Memory Upgrade

This 16GB DDR4 module is built for Supermicro SuperServer 5019C-MHN2, 5029C-T and 5039MC-H8TRF systems. It also fits Supermicro X11SSW-F and X11SSW-TF motherboards. The kit provides a single 288-pin VLP ECC UDIMM for administrators expanding capacity in compatible rackmount or tower servers.

DDR4 2666 JEDEC Limits

The module runs at 2666 MT/s with CL19 latency at the standard 1.2 V JEDEC voltage. ECC protection corrects single-bit errors, which is required for the target Supermicro platforms. Unbuffered 2Rx8 organisation means the memory controller sees two ranks per DIMM; total rank count per channel must stay within the motherboard limit. Builders who need registered or load-reduced DIMMs cannot use this part.

Replaces Lower-Capacity DDR4 DIMMs

Swapping out 8GB or smaller DDR4 2666 sticks for this 16GB module doubles density per slot without changing voltage or speed. The upgrade is worth it when the server hits memory pressure during virtualization, database caching or multi-user workloads. Systems already populated with maximum supported DIMMs per channel cannot accept additional modules.
