OWC 32GB DDR4 2933MHz ECC RDIMM

This 32GB DDR4 module runs at 2933MHz with CL21 latency and 1.2V operation. It is an ECC registered RDIMM built for servers, workstations and NAS systems. The 2Rx4 dual-rank design fits standard 288-pin DDR4 slots. It replaces Supermicro MEM-DR432L-SL01-ER29, MEM-DR432L-SL03-ER29 and MEM-DR432LC-ER29 parts.

Replaces slower DDR4 ECC RDIMMs

The module upgrades systems currently running 2133MHz, 2400MHz or 2666MHz DDR4 ECC registered memory. The jump is worth it when your workload benefits from the higher 2933MHz data rate and PC4-23400 bandwidth. It will not work in standard desktop computers that require unbuffered non-ECC memory. Builders needing unbuffered DIMMs or higher capacities per slot cannot use this registered module.

DDR4 288-pin registered interface limits

The 288-pin DDR4 registered form factor requires a motherboard with RDIMM support and a compatible memory controller. Mixing registered and unbuffered modules on the same channel is not supported. Maximum speed is determined by the platform's memory controller and populated slot count. Population rules for 2Rx4 modules may limit total channel capacity or achievable frequency on some server boards.
