Single-module 4 GB upgrade

This OWC module adds 4 GB of DDR3L 1333 memory to a desktop, workstation or server that accepts unbuffered ECC UDIMMs. It runs at 1.35 V with a CL9 latency and conforms to the PC3L-10600 JEDEC standard. The 240-pin DIMM is a direct drop-in for compatible systems.

Suited for ECC platforms, not consumer boards

Systems that require error-correcting unbuffered memory — such as certain workstations, servers or NAS units — will benefit from the ECC function. Standard consumer desktops that do not support ECC or that need registered modules should choose a different kit.

Handles everyday multi-tasking, not heavy workloads

The single 4 GB stick comfortably runs typical office applications, light virtualization and file serving. Memory-intensive tasks such as large databases, heavy rendering or multiple VMs will exhaust the capacity quickly.
