The Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 MK5 is a fully rugged laptop built to MIL-STD-810G standards with drop-shock protection and a magnesium alloy case. It runs an Intel Core i5-5300U vPro processor at 2.3GHz with Turbo Boost up to 2.9GHz, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. The 13.1-inch XGA touchscreen delivers 1024 x 768 resolution at 1200 nits for sunlight-viewable use. It ships with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit installed.

Windows 10 Pro locked to version 10

The operating system is Windows 10 Professional 64-bit and the supplier states it is not upgradeable to Windows 11. This limits the device to the feature set and security lifecycle of the Windows 10 platform. Intel HD Graphics 5500 handles display output on the 13.1-inch panel. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE mobile broadband with satellite GPS. No webcam is included in this configuration.

Simple deployment with driver support

Industry-leading driver packages are supplied to ease deployment and ongoing support for IT teams. The standard backlit keyboard and integrated handle allow immediate use in the field without extra accessories. Optional components such as a DVD drive or webcam are not fitted on this unit.
