The Planar SLP43 is a 43" 4K LCD built for 24/7 commercial signage. It runs landscape or portrait with a narrow logo-free bezel and slim profile. The panel delivers 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz, 500 nit brightness and an 8 ms response time. Android 10 media playback and integrated cybersecurity mitigation are included.

Step up from consumer panels

Consumer TVs lack rated 24/7 operation and often omit serial or Ethernet control. This display adds ENERGY STAR efficiency, direct LED backlighting and native 4K @ 60 Hz over HDMI. The jump is worth it when uptime, remote management and a clean bezel are required for wayfinding, menus or emergency messaging.

Simple install with network control

VESA mounting and a single HDMI cable handle video; serial and Ethernet ports enable remote scheduling and monitoring. Android 10 apps load via USB or network without a separate player. The main pitfalls are forgetting to enable 24/7 mode in the OSD and overlooking the need for a managed switch to use the Ethernet features.
