The ROCCAT Kone AIMO Remastered is a wired optical gaming mouse built for right-handed players who prefer a sculpted shell that supports the palm during long sessions. Its 16000 dpi sensor provides precise tracking across multiple sensitivity stages without requiring a surface change. Five independently configurable RGBA lighting zones let you match the mouse to the rest of your setup. Windows 7, 8 and 10 are supported through a standard USB 2.0 connection.

Consistent Response Under Continuous Use

The optical sensor maintains its 16000 dpi ceiling during sustained movement, avoiding the variance that can appear when a sensor overheats in shorter bursts. A fixed 1 pound weight keeps the centre of gravity stable so muscle memory remains reliable over hours of play. The single scroll wheel operates on a defined notch mechanism that does not change feel as internal components warm up. Driver software runs in the background without introducing noticeable latency during extended gaming periods.

USB 2.0 Bandwidth and Driver Dependency

The mouse connects through a USB 2.0 port, limiting the polling rate to the bandwidth available on that interface rather than a faster standard. All button remapping, DPI steps and lighting profiles require the manufacturer driver package, which must be downloaded over an internet connection before the device reaches full functionality. On systems without network access or on operating systems outside the supported Windows range, the mouse reverts to basic plug-and-play operation with default settings only.
