The V-NAND TLC memory and Elpis controller target consistent performance under sustained I/O.

Sequential reads reach up to 6700 MBps while sequential writes reach up to 4000 MBps. Random 4KB reads hit 1,100,000 IOPS and random 4KB writes hit 200,000 IOPS. PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe 1.4 interface limits
The four-lane PCIe 4.0 connection caps theoretical throughput at the drive’s published sequential speeds. NVMe 1.4 adds namespace management and sanitize commands but does not increase the link bandwidth beyond the x4 electrical limit. Systems limited to PCIe 3.0 or x2 lanes will reduce both throughput and IOPS proportionally. 256-bit AES encryption is handled by the controller without host CPU overhead.
