The SanDisk Ultra Fit 1TB USB 3.2 Gen 1 Flash Drive adds a full terabyte of storage through a tiny Type A connector that barely protrudes from the port. It is designed for users who want permanent extra capacity on a laptop, game console or in-car audio system without a dangling cable.

Downloadable 128-bit AES encryption

Password protection software secures files on the drive using 128-bit AES encryption. The utility runs on Windows 10 or later and macOS 10.9 or later, but it must be downloaded from the SanDisk website before the feature can be used.

Up to 400MB/s read and 60MB/s write

Sequential reads reach 400MB/s on a USB 3.2 Gen 1 or USB 3.0 host, letting a 1.2GB movie transfer in under 30 seconds. Writes are limited to 60MB/s, so large batch backups take noticeably longer than the initial fill.
