The Supermicro MBD-M12SWA-TF-O is an EATX server motherboard built for AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5000WX and 3000WX series processors up to 64 cores. It uses the WRX80 chipset and socket sWRX8 to deliver eight-channel DDR4 3200 memory support. The board targets workstations that need high core counts and large memory capacity in a single-socket platform.

Eight DDR4 slots with ECC and registered support

Eight 288-pin DDR4 slots accept up to 2TB of registered ECC RDIMM or 256GB of unbuffered non-ECC UDIMM at 3200 MHz. Four M.2 slots wired for PCIe 4.0 x4 each support 2280 and 22110 form factors with M-key and software RAID 0, 1, 5, 10. PCIe 4.0 lanes and 10 GbE define expansion limits

Six PCI Express 4.0 x16 slots provide the primary expansion path for GPUs, accelerators or networking cards. Dual 10 GbE controllers, Marvell AQC113C and Intel I210-AT, handle high-speed networking. The ASPEED AST2600 BMC offers out-of-band management through a dedicated D-Sub video port and COM header. Builders needing more than six x16 slots or 10 GbE ports must look elsewhere.
