The SYS-6028U-TR4T+ is a 2U rackmount server equipped with two Intel Xeon E5-2660 v4 processors, each running at 2.0 GHz with 14 cores and a 3.2 GHz turbo frequency. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory is installed across four 16 GB modules. The system targets virtualization, database and cloud workloads that benefit from dual-socket compute density.

Hot-swap bays and redundant power

Twelve front-accessible 3.5-inch drive bays accept SATA or SAS disks and support hot-plug replacement without downtime. An LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i controller provides eight SAS 12 Gb/s ports with 1 GB cache and battery backup, enabling RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Dual 1000 W titanium-efficiency power supplies are hot-swappable for continuous availability.

Quad 10GBase-T and IPMI 2.0

Networking is handled by an Intel X540 controller delivering four RJ45 10GBase-T ports for high-throughput LAN connectivity.
