This 2U rackmount system ships with two Intel Xeon E5-2660 v4 processors running at 2.0 GHz with 3.2 GHz turbo, providing 28 total cores for heavy multi-threaded tasks. It is configured with 768 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory across 24 DIMM slots, leaving room to grow toward the 1.5 TB platform maximum. The LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i controller manages up to twelve 3.5-inch SATA or SAS drives in RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 or 60.

Redundant 1000 W Titanium Supplies

Dual hot-swap 1000 watt titanium-efficiency power supplies deliver redundancy without a shutdown during replacement. The Intel X540 controller exposes four RJ45 10GBase-T ports for high-throughput networking, while a dedicated RJ45 IPMI 2.0 port enables KVM-over-LAN and virtual media for lights-out management. A Matrox G200 GPU with 8 MB video memory handles basic console output.

Twelve Hot-Swap Bays and Half-Height Expansion

The CSE-829UAC-R1K02-T chassis provides twelve front-accessible 3.5-inch hot-plug drive trays, supporting dense SAS or SATA storage without consuming internal PCIe slots. Dual LGA 2011-3 sockets are populated, so no further CPU upgrades are possible without replacing the installed processors. Front bezel and rack rails are not included and must be sourced separately for cabinet mounting.
