The Supermicro SYS-6028U-TR4T+ is a 2U rackmount server equipped with two Intel Xeon E5-2683 v4 processors, each running at 2.1 GHz with 16 cores. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory across 24 DIMM slots. The platform targets enterprises that need dense compute for virtualization, database workloads, or private cloud deployments.

Twelve 3.5-inch hot-swap bays on an 8-port RAID

Storage connects through a MegaRAID 9361-8i controller with 1 GB cache and battery backup, supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60. The chassis provides 12 front-accessible 3.5-inch trays for SATA or SAS drives, but the controller only serves eight ports, so not all bays can be active simultaneously without additional hardware. Maximum supported memory reaches 1.5 TB.

Redundant 1000 W titanium supplies

Dual hot-swap 1000 W titanium-efficiency power supplies deliver redundancy for continuous operation. Networking uses a SuperMicro AOC-2UR-6-i4XT add-in card with an Intel X540 controller, providing four RJ45 10GBase-T ports. A dedicated RJ45 management port enables IPMI 2.0 with KVM-over-LAN and virtual media. The front bezel and rack rails are not included.
