Four drive bays accept 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or 2.5-inch SATA SSDs for flexible business storage. Four integrated 1GbE RJ-45 ports support Link Aggregation for load balancing and failover.
Pre-installed cache and drives accelerate workloads
This unit ships fully assembled with 1.6TB of Synology Enterprise Cache provided by two 800GB modules plus four 6TB Synology Plus NAS drives totalling 24TB raw capacity. The cache tier speeds up random access for virtualisation and database workloads while the drives deliver large-volume sequential throughput. A PCIe Gen3 slot remains open for future 10GbE or 25GbE adapter upgrades.
