Cooling for 150 W CPUs

The Riing Silent 12 handles thermal loads up to 150 W with four direct-contact copper heatpipes and 0.4 mm aluminium fins. A 120 mm hydraulic-bearing fan spins between 500 and 1400 RPM to push 53 CFM through the tower heatsink. The cooler fits Intel sockets from LGA 775 to LGA 2066 and AMD sockets from AM2 to AM4.

Low-noise ceiling and cable option

At full speed the fan produces 18 dBA; the supplied low-noise cable drops the range to 300–700 RPM and 13 dBA for quieter operation. The 4-pin PWM connector allows the motherboard to scale speed automatically with CPU temperature. No higher airflow or static-pressure figures are provided, so builders needing more cooling headroom should consider larger towers or liquid coolers.

Tower layout and red LED ring

The heatsink measures 159 mm tall, 140 mm wide and 74 mm deep, weighing 825 g. Horizontal fan mounting and the non-interference design keep the DIMM slots clear for tall memory modules. A red LED ring circles the fan blades and is visible from all angles; the colour is fixed and not addressable. The 159 mm height requires a case with sufficient CPU cooler clearance.
