Triple 120mm ARGB fan kit

The Thermaltake SWAFAN EX12 arrives as a three-fan pack with hydraulic bearings and addressable RGB lighting. Each 120 by 120 by 25 millimetre frame uses a 2510 4-pin PWM connector for speed control and a 5V 3-pin ARGB header for motherboard synchronisation. The bundle includes three frames, three pre-installed standard blades, three reverse blades and three cables. Builders who want reversible airflow with software-tied lighting will find the kit straightforward to deploy.

Magnetic reversible blades

Swapping between the standard and reverse blades changes airflow direction without tools; the standard blade delivers 57.11 CFM at 30.6 dB-A while the reverse blade provides 56.26 CFM at 32.5 dB-A. Both variants spin between 500 and 2000 RPM under PWM control, so noise and output scale together during long sessions. The hydraulic bearing is rated for continuous operation at the upper speed range. Users who need static pressure above these CFM figures should look elsewhere.

Motherboard header check

Verify that your board exposes enough 5V ARGB 3-pin headers and 4-pin PWM fan headers for three devices, or plan a powered splitter hub. The fans draw power through the 2510 4-pin connector, so the header current limit matters for sustained 2000 RPM running. No dedicated controller is included in the package. Cases without 120mm mounting points cannot use these frames.
