Matcha Green Micro-ATX Chassis

The Thermaltake Tower 300 in Matcha Green is a Micro-ATX tower chassis built from SPCC steel with three 3mm tempered glass panels on the front, left and right. It accepts Mini-ITX and Micro-ATX motherboards and provides three internal 3.5-inch bays plus three 2.5-inch bays for storage. Four expansion slots support graphics cards up to 400mm long when no radiator is mounted on the right side.

Installation Notes

Two 140mm fans come pre-installed at the top so the first airflow path is ready immediately. The right-side bracket offers multiple 120mm and 140mm fan positions but the dense hole pattern can make screw alignment fiddly when fitting a thick radiator. Cable routing space behind the motherboard tray is adequate yet the bottom power-supply chamber limits very long units to 220mm. Front-panel connectors include one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, two USB 3.0 and an audio jack.

Sustained Load Behaviour

With a 420mm radiator on the right side the case moves large volumes of air directly across the motherboard, keeping coolant temperatures steady during extended sessions. The top exhaust fans pull heat away from the voltage-regulator area while the glass panels remain sealed, preventing recirculation. GPU thermals stay consistent because the 280mm clearance with a radiator still allows most mid-range cards to breathe. PSU intake draws cool air from the bottom vent independent of the main chamber.
