Whole-home Wi-Fi 7 mesh system
The Deco BE85 is a tri-band mesh Wi-Fi system sold as a three-pack of identical routers. Each unit delivers BE22000-class wireless performance across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands. It is built for households that want a single network name covering every room and the ability to connect up to 200 devices simultaneously.
10G multi-gigabit wired port
Every router in the pack includes a 10G Ethernet port for incoming WAN or high-speed LAN links. This port removes the wired bottleneck when your internet service exceeds one gigabit and lets you attach a fast NAS or switch without slowing the mesh backbone.
HomeShield security and Deco app
TP-Link HomeShield bundles IoT protection, cyber threat prevention, parental controls and network reports into the Deco app. The package also supplies three power adapters, one Ethernet cable and a quick installation guide so the mesh is ready to configure straight from the box.

Questions sur cet article
What does the BE22000 combined speed mean for actual throughput on my devices?
The BE22000 figure aggregates the maximum theoretical rates across all three bands: 11520 Mbps on 6.0 GHz, 8640 Mbps on 5.0 GHz and 1376 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Real-world throughput will be lower and depends on client capabilities, interference and distance from the node.
How does the 10G Multi-Gigabit port limit wired performance?
The 10G port caps the wired backhaul or WAN link at 10 Gbps, so any multi-gig internet plan or local transfer faster than that will be bottlenecked at the port.
What clearance do the 5.04-inch tall units need on a shelf or desk?
Each unit stands 5.04 inches high, so allow at least that much vertical space plus a small gap above for airflow and cable routing.
