USB 3.0 bandwidth and UHS-I card limits

The reader uses a USB 3.0 connection that also works on USB 2.0, so transfer speed is bounded by the port you plug into. Cards are supported up to the UHS-I specification, meaning the hardware cannot utilise the higher bus speeds of UHS-II or UHS-III media. Users with those faster cards will see performance capped at the UHS-I level regardless of the card rating.

Ultra-compact build with LED activity light

The housing is small enough to stay plugged into a laptop during travel and draws power solely from the USB port. A built-in LED shows when a card is seated and when data is moving, reducing the chance of accidental removal mid-transfer. The two-slot layout covers both full-size and micro formats without an adapter, keeping the workflow simple for mixed card sets.
