The Velztorm Erebix arrives with Windows 10 Home installed and a 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen 3 3100 processor running at 3.60 GHz with a 3.9 GHz boost. A GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory handles 1080p gaming. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD provide capacity for multitasking and large libraries. The 750W power supply supports the build.

Connectivity and upgrade path

Two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and a USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1 port deliver faster data transfer for external drives. Four USB 2.0 ports handle keyboards, mice and headsets without using the faster lanes. A single HDMI output connects one monitor directly to the graphics card. Wired Ethernet and 802.11n Wi-Fi cover both network preferences. The chassis has no optical drive bay.

Chassis and daily use

A black desktop tower measuring 8.75 by 16 by 17.5 inches weighs 20.9 lb and uses an air-cooled CPU cooler. Front-panel audio jacks put microphone and headphone connections within easy reach. The side panel opens for memory or storage upgrades without tools. No webcam or display is included in the box.
