Dual-Bay M.2 NVMe Enclosure

The Wavlink ST348 holds two M.2 PCIe NVMe or AHCI drives up to 8 TB each. It connects to Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS, Android, Harmony OS, iPadOS and iOS devices through a USB-C or USB-A port and includes an offline cloning function that copies data from the source drive to the target drive without a computer.

USB 3.2 Gen 2 20 Gbps Interface

The USB-C connection tops out at 20 Gbps with quoted sequential reads of 1631 MB/s and writes of 1267 MB/s. Real-world speed depends on the host controller, cable quality and the SSD itself. The enclosure will not work with SATA or mSATA M.2 drives and the target disk must be larger than the source when cloning.

Tool-Free Assembly with Cloning Steps

A sliding cover opens without tools; two thermally conductive silicone pads and silicone buckles secure 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 drives. Cloning only starts after the data cable is unplugged and the clone button is held; inserting the drives in the wrong bays prevents the operation. A 5 V/4 A power adapter is required for stable operation.
