This OWC kit supplies 32GB of DDR3L memory across four 8GB registered DIMMs. It is built for Cisco UCS C200 M2 and C210 M2 servers that require ECC registered modules. The kit will not work in standard desktop computers or alongside unbuffered or load-reduced memory.
Each module operates at 1.35V, the standard DDR3L voltage, which reduces power draw compared with 1.5V DDR3. No heat spreaders are fitted, so airflow through the server chassis handles cooling. Registered buffering adds minimal electrical load on the memory controller.
ECC registered operation corrects single-bit errors during continuous workloads, helping maintain data integrity in virtualisation or database tasks. CL11 latency at 1600MHz provides consistent timing for long-running server applications. The four-module population fills four slots for balanced channel utilisation.
