A 120 mm case fan with hydro dynamic bearing delivers 60.4 CFM airflow at 1200 RPM while running at 17.7 dBA
The COUGAR CF-V12HB is a single 120mm case fan designed for builders who need reliable airflow in a standard mounting position. It targets systems where a balance of air movement and low noise is preferred over maximum static pressure. The fan suits typical chassis intake or exhaust roles in everyday desktop builds.
At its fixed speed of 1200 RPM the fan moves 60.4 CFM or 102.6 CMH while producing 17.7 dBA. The Hydro Dynamic bearing runs without friction, contributing to the quiet output and a rated 300000-hour MTBF. Anti-vibration pads and rubber tool-less pins further dampen mechanical noise transmitted to the case.
The 25mm-thick black frame houses turbine-style blades with diversion grooves that focus the airstream. A 3-pin power connector is supplied together with a 3-to-4-pin adapter, allowing connection to either motherboard headers or fan controllers. Tool-less fixed pins and traditional screws are both included, giving the installer a choice of quick mounting or a screwed fit.

Push the rubber fixed pins through the 120mm mounting holes until they click; the step people miss is seating all four pins fully so the anti-vibration pads contact the frame and prevent 17.7 dBA noise from rising.
The hydro-dynamic bearing is rated for 300000 hours MTBF; no lubrication is required, but dust the diversion groove blades periodically to keep airflow near 60.4 CFM.
The 3-pin connector supplies fixed voltage, so speed cannot drop below 1200 RPM; the first limit is the 17.7 dBA noise floor, which becomes audible before bearing wear reaches the 300000-hour rating.
