This configuration targets environments that need many cores in a small chassis footprint, such as virtualisation hosts, private-cloud nodes or high-performance-compute workloads. Buyers who require larger memory capacity out of the box should note only 16 GB is installed, though the platform supports up to 2 TB across 16 DIMM slots. Organisations without a compatible PowerEdge MX or M1000e chassis cannot install this blade. Dual 1.92 TB SATA SSDs Define Storage Baseline

Two Dell Enterprise 1.92 TB SATA 6 Gb/s 2.5-inch solid-state drives are factory-installed behind the PERC H330 controller, which supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 and 50. The blade accepts SATA and SAS drives, but no NVMe devices are present in this build. Storage capacity and performance are therefore fixed by these two drives unless additional bays are populated in the chassis.
