Two hot-swap 750 W platinum power supplies deliver redundant power for the dual 14-core Xeon processors, 256GB of DDR4 memory and the full complement of twelve drives. The PERC H730 controller with 1GB cache manages RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through, offloading parity calculations from the CPUs. iDRAC 8 Enterprise provides remote monitoring and management without adding to the thermal budget.

Twelve 3.5-inch bays fill the front panel

The 2U chassis uses all twelve front bays for the installed 8TB drives, leaving no internal 3.5-inch slots for expansion.
